STT’s tip #2 of the month for June 2010

Have you ever been invited to a dinner and told to bring dessert?  Maybe this is a great time to experiment with foods while teaching your friends about healthy eating habits.  Try incorporating kumquats or pomegranate into your presentation.  Kumquat is both sweet and sour in taste and is high in vitamin C and fiber.  Pomegranate contains hundreds of ruby-colored seeds encased in translucent red pulp that is both sweet and tart. The seeds are a good source of potassium and vitamins C and B6.
