STT’s tip #2 of the month for April 2010

There may be a connection between stress and its effects on increased blood cholesterol and higher blood pressure.  Try these tips to help manage your stress: take a short trip for a change of scenery, find time to laugh with a humor break, organize yourself and manage your time, find ten minutes for yourself and take a deep breath, take time to eat healthy, and share your thoughts and feelings with a trusted friend or family member.

  1. Much needed reminder for us all. Time is short and it’s important to reflect on what is truly important. Stress, especially excessive stress will kill us, so that’s why we need to recreate or re create and part of that recreation process is personal growth. Stress causes stagnate personal growth. Not all stress is bad, though our body will tell us what’s good stress and what is unhealthy.
