STT’s tip of the month for June 2009

Are you into technology?  Try adding a pedometer or a heart rate monitor to your cardio workout.  Both of these simple additions can help you track your effort and hold you accountable to intensity.  Try to burn at least 300 extra calories and to eat roughly 200 calories less in a day.  This 500-calorie deficit is equivalent to one pound of body fat per week.  Can you image 52 weeks of that?
